It's March. Let's Review!

Here's a recap of our Thanksgiving and Christmas:

We spent Thanksgiving in Houston at Matt's brother's house. It was the first time in years the whole Beasley clan was together - no one sick, on a rig, or out of the country. Good times. Bryce had a great time with his bud Calleigh Paige. Uncle Jason became his favorite person after sneaking him into the pantry all week for cheese balls.

We also squeezed in a birthday celebration for Matt since he wasn't able to be with his family (besides me and Bryce) on his birthday.

Bryce refused to mount a horse with anyone but his big cousin Tyler.

Back home, Bryce was trying to decide if he wants to be a neurosurgeon when he grows up.

We made Christmas cookies at the beginning of December. Bryce ate a lot of dough.

Then we went for a visit to Austin to my brother's for my niece's dedication. We decorated the cookies we made earlier in the week. The boys loved it.

Siler made his mommy a beautiful flower.

Bryce concentrated very hard and occasionally licked the icing.

And Caleb pretty much just ate icing.

Madilyn supervised.

The final product. Oddly enough, my boy was the only one who liked the cookies. The others asked for Nilla Wafers. Too funny.

Bryce spent some time with his baby cousin, practicing being a big brother.

The family post-dedication.

We also made our annual trip to see the big tree in downtown Fort Worth.

I have very few pictures of Christmas on my camera because I left my brain in Fort Worth and my camera at my cousin's in Houston. Anyway, there are some on Matt's phone but they won't be making the blog because I'm lazy. So the pic above is after Christmas, the boys camping out on the floor at Grammy's.

Bryce eating his first doughnut.

Bryce jumping on Grammy's bed.

And the Beasley grandkids opening their presents. Would you believe this was the first and only pic I had to take of them - they were all posing so nicely!

That's all for now. Let's hope 2012 is a better blogging year.

Watch Graham Grow

Hi! Remember us? I know, it's been a while. Let's just pretend like that little break never happened and pick right back up. So... we found out just before Thanksgiving we were expecting another baby boy! We are super excited for Bryce to have a little brother. A few weeks ago, we finally (or Matt finally) decided on a name: Graham Lawrence. (click on the photos for a closer look)

12 weeks

Graham is a name Matt has always liked and Lawrence is my grandfather's first name. I like Graham, too, it's just Matt got more decision making power in the first name since I really wanted to use Lawrence for the middle name. So there you have it.

16 weeks

Because I have a low thyroid and because of Bryce's cyst drama, we've been having ultrasounds every 4 weeks since October.

16 weeks

We're happy that there are no signs that Graham has the same cyst Bryce had (it would have been super rare for it to happen twice) and that Graham is growing well - about a week ahead of schedule, actually. So my low thyroid is not hindering his growth in the slightest.

20 weeks

We're extra thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far since it seems we keep hearing about recent tragic situations with others at the seminary who are expecting.

27 weeks

Now that it's almost March, I'm working on a recap of the holidays. I know it will be late but there are some pictures that are too cute not to share. Thanks for reading!
