Here's how Bryce's first taste of a Cadbury Egg went: I was putting groceries away in the refrigerator. I turned around a second later to find that Bryce had snagged a Cadbury egg from the fridge, peeled the wrapper off and was sitting on the couch gnawing on it. So there's that.
For Easter, we got Bryce a little toddler backpack to finally replace the diaper bag.
Bryce has become such a big helper recently. Instead of playing with his toys, he'd rather being doing just about anything we're doing. He loves to "Coooook!" Everytime I do something in the kitchen that remotely resembles cooking, he runs to the table, grabs a chair and pushes it over to the counter. In this picture, I was letting him cut up some vegetables with a butter knife. I'm pretty sure it kept him busy for a good 30 minutes. Wonderful.
This was Bryce's first taste of pudding. He's getting really good at using a spoon, but not so good that it didn't end up all over his face and tray.
This was "din-oh" that Bryce prepared for Matt and me one evening. It's hard to see in the picture but there are crumpled up pieces of paper as our 'food' on the make-shift tray.
And of course he loves to help Daddy "Mow grass!"
And here's an update on the garden for those of you who were wondering. We have TONS of squash already. Some of the bigger ones are about 3 inches long. We also have little baby zucchini, peppers and tomatoes. These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago so everything is quite a bit bigger now.
